Katherine Bear Tur, born October 26, 1983 in America is a journalist for broadcast and writer who is an anchor at NBC News. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports. From 2021, she hosts Katy Tur Reports. She also reports for NBC News platforms Early Today, Today and NBC Nightly News.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tur is the daughter and grandchild of journalist Zoey Tur, and Marika Gerrard. She graduated from Brentwood School (2001) and University of California Santa Barbara (2005) with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in philosophy. She is Jewish.
